In this week’s Coronation Street, Stu Carpenter is relieved when Dee-Dee Bailey tells him she’s received the results of the DNA test. But, why is Alya Nazir so shocked by the news? Meanwhile, Tracy Barlow attempts to break-up Ken Barlow and Wendy Papadopoulos however, her plan may end up forcing her father and his lover closer together. Elsewhere, David Platt suspects Max Turner has been causing trouble again but will he be able to prove his innocence?
David Platt heartbroken as police make worrying Max discovery
David Platt (Jack P. Shepherd) struggles to believe Max Turner (Paddy Bever) this week when Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon) is the victim of online trolling.
Max befriends a refugee from Iraq after conducting an interview as part of a school project but David begins to suspect Max is out for revenge when Daryan secures a place at Weatherfield High.
Maria notices disparaging comments under an online article about her rehoming of refugees and David demands Max hand over his laptop but he refuses.
He denies having anything to do with it but David gets the police involved as he feels he is unable to trust the schoolboy.
Despite Max protesting his innocence, the police tell David on the phone that they are coming around to talk to him.

Horror as Dee-Dee Bailey confirms true killer in Stu murder case
In upcoming scenes, Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown) finds out once and for all the truth about Stu Carpenter’s (Bill Fellows) case after instigating a DNA test.
Eliza and Bridget Woodrow (Beth Vyse) enjoy brunch with Stu and Yasmeen Nazir (Shelley King) but it quickly gets too much for Bridget.
She runs out to the garden and Stu follows her but is left shocked when she makes a confession connected to his prison sentence.
Later in the week, Dee-Dee finds out the results of the DNA test but Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) is stunned by the news.
Sally Metcalfe devastated as she discovers Tim and Aggie’s secret
Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) and Aggie Bailey (Lorna Laidlaw) continue to grow close as the former helps the latter by offering some useful family advice.
He later feels like a fraud when Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor) plans a night out at the Bistro as another thank-you for her anniversary present which Aggie helped Tim choose.
Tim arrives home to find Sally doing a disco aerobics workout and joins in. The pair enjoy a laugh together before having sex for the first time in months.
They head off to the Bistro where Ed Bailey (Trevor Michael Georges) invites them to join their table but the evening turns awkward for Aggie when Sally compliments the necklace that Tim secretly bought for her.
Realising Aggie is confused by his and Sally’s flirtatious behaviour he sends her a text but is mortified when he realises he’s sent it to Sally instead.

Ken Barlow furious as Tracy sabotages new romance
Ken Barlow’s (Will Roache) blossoming romance with Wendy Papadopoulos (Roberta Kerr) continues this week but it’s not long before Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford) tries to put a stop to it.
Tracy wants her father to have nothing to do with Wendy because the former lovers first embarked on an affair in 1989 leading to her mother Deirdre Barlow (Anne Kirkbride) divorcing Ken.
Next week, Mary Taylor (Patti Clare) is left furious when Ken abruptly brings their conversation to an end when he receives a text from Wendy. She immediately tells Brian Packham (Peter Gunn) about the encounter and when Tracy overhears, she storms off to the book launch to find Ken and Wendy.
Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) and Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) are thrilled to see Ken and Wendy together but it’s clear Tracy feels the opposite and causes a scene.
She later apologises to Ken and invites Wendy around for lunch, much to her father’s surprise, but Tracy’s true intentions are revealed when she dishes up stuffed marrow – Deirdre’s speciality.
Aaron devastated as father almost perishes in house fire
Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) urges Aaron Sandford (James Craven) not to go home when he receives angry texts from his dad.
Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brocklebank) and Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) check up on him and report back that he was drunk and angry leaving Summer more worried than ever.
Later, the police turn up at the flat and tell Aaron his dad is currently recovering in hospital after being involved in a fire.
The concerned son is relieved but is crushed when his dad tells him he wished he hadn’t survived during a hospital visit.
Aaron blames himself and dismisses Summer’s plea to let her share his burden leaving the teenager crushed.
