A PLACE in the Sun's Jean Johansson was left grinding her teeth as a couple shut down her 'pointless' property viewing.

Mother and son duo Katie and Michael appeared on the Channel 4 show to find their perfect home in Cyprus.


The pair told expert Jean that they wanted two bedrooms, a pool and had to be within budget of £83,000.

The search got off to a good start, but by the third property things started to go down hill.

The two-bed apartment, priced at £83,000, left them feeling a little underwhelmed.

Micheal told Jean: "It's not the same as the others. The views and the outside.

"If you were going to go that high up with the budget then you've got to be like 'wow, I really want this.'"

Jean was left wondering if she was just wasting her time.

She asked: "Is there any point in me showing you around the rest?

"Not really, no," Katie said back.

It comes after fans were left furious after a couple refused to put in an offer for their "dream home."

Presenter, Danni Menzie, 33 was on board to help Colin and Janet find their perfect home in Algarve, Portugal.

The pair viewed five homes with a £350,000 budget and a wiggle room of £50,000 to splurge on the ideal home.

The third property, a renovated farmhouse near Moncarapacho with an estimated worth of £431,192, captured the couple's heart.

However the pad the property needed a makeover which left the couple in doubt.

Janet said: "We talked to local friends who have had work done and suddenly you find out you're talking £430,000, £440,000."

Colin added that they felt the house needed more work done to it and so they need more time to think about it.
