Adele's troubled Las Vegas gig ticket prices are 'highest in history' as seats on sale for a staggering £200k EACH | The Sun

TICKETS for Adele's troubled Las Vegas residency are said to have climbed to the "highest in history" as seats sell for £200,000 EACH.

The singer cancelled the string of gigs at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in January, just 24 hours before the first show was due.

Adele, 34, has since revealed she plans to return to the venue with updated dates – and tickets have officially already sold out.

Fans who originally had tickets will be able to reuse them for the rescheduled concerts, which kick off on November 18 in Vegas.

But while tickets originally ranged from hundreds of pounds – they are now fetching MUCH more on a number of resale sites online.

As the hard-to-reach 'nosebleed' seats on the top of the balcony are reaching £650, others are going for hundreds-of-thousands more.

According to The Mail On Sunday, one seat at a central position in front of the stage is listed on StubHub ticket exchange for £197,698.

A source told the publication: "Most people hung on to their tickets and the £200,000 ask is a big one but clearly whoever is trying to resell those tickets thinks they might be able to get the big bucks.

"There are more reasonably priced seats available but you would expect prices to soar closer to the first concert date as people make last-minute plans to head to Vegas to see her.

"If someone is asking £200,000 a ticket they must believe there is someone out there willing to pay for it."

It comes after it was revealed that Adele would be "stripping back" her Las Vegas residency to make way for more intimate shows.

Insiders revealed the superstar has decided to make her shows Colosseum shows at Caesars Palace an intimate affair and even plans to mingle with fans during the set.

Sourcesrevealed the Easy On Me singer had planned to have a 40 strong orchestra and 60 singer choir during her January shows.

But now she has shrunk that figure to a 20 musician band with three backing singers on stage while her choir will now be reduced to 30.

A source said: "Adele has revised her plan for the show has stripped it back. The production will be very classy, the show is centred on her energy and vocals.

"The January shows had room for a significant orchestra and band along with a 60 piece choir. The feel was big, grand and immensely theatrical."

Now she wants it to be more intimate and to connect to the audience by being in with them during the performance.

"Adele wants to make her mark with this show and be regarded as one of the greatest ever headliners in Sin City," they added.

"The genius of this approach is that the intimacy is something different compared to other acts. Adele's show will be packed with her warmth and personality.
