In recent episodes of Coronation Street, it became apparent that Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney) was starting to develop feelings for Aadi Alahan (Adam Hussain).

While this was very lovely and came at the right time for Amy, we knew it wouldn’t really last long, as the arrival of Courtney Vance (Stephanie Davis) would change everything for Aadi.

Courtney is married to a man called Darren, who is working with Dev (Jimmi Harkishin) right now. They go for business meetings which largely involve playing golf and at the same time, are both under the impression that Aadi is working as Darren’s assistant.

While this is true, Dev and Darren are unaware that Aadi is assisting Courtney in other areas as opposed to just driving her to and from posh events.

They’re having an affair; we won’t beat around the bush here.

Coming up, as Aadi arrives for work, hoping to show Darren some figures he’s been working on, he’s disappointed when his new boss reveals that he’d like to spend the day looking after Courtney.

Bold and confident, Courtney finds Aadi and says that after lunch, she’d like to have sex with him again, leaving him squirming.

While Aadi and Courtney are well, otherwise occupied, Amy lets herself into No.7 to pick up some paperwork for Dev.

But just as she enters, she’s shocked to find Aadi and Courtney in a compromising position!

Is this the moment their affair is exposed?

‘Courtney’s really attracted to Aadi but also, it comes from her relationship with Darren’, Stephanie Davis explained.

‘He’s cheated on her multiple times; it’s affected her self-worth and confidence. I know she’s attracted to him but a lot of it is to get one back on her husband. She wants someone to love her, and Aadi shows that.’

‘I think she notices that Aadi’s paying attention to her, and she goes for it. She definitely cares about him. At first, it’s a bit of fun. She’s loving the attention; it’s making her feel good and she’s not felt like that for a long time.

‘She’s in a loveless marriage, in this big house with Darren, he doesn’t pay her any attention, just gives her the credit card. At first, it’s a bit of fun, but then she sees this other side to Aadi and then it gets a bit more serious.’
