BBC BREAKFAST's Charlie Stayt was scolded live on air by his boss after a chaotic interview.
The seasoned presenter, 61, hosted Thursday's programme with Sarah Campbell.
She stood in for Naga Munchetty who was noticeably absent from the red sofa.
During the show they both spoke with Death in Paradise actor Ben Miller.
The 57-year-old was discussing the books he's written during his established career.
Charlie showed interest in one of his books which featured giant, as he told the actor he never knew giants couldn't swim.

He told Ben: "It's that I didn't know that giants by mythologies, because it's not real, obviously, but in mythology they can't swim."
Ben confirmed the revelation to be true, as he replied: "The last living giant, this is all tied in with the Arthurian legend, you see because apparently Gogmagog was fought on the coasts of Cornwall and was thrown into the sea drowned, the last living English giant."
Both men then continued to chat about giants as Charlie quizzed Ben on why they couldn't swim.
The BBC Breakfast presenter said he thought giants should be able to swim, given how big they are.

Ben told him: "I mean, this is a really good question."
Sarah then chimed in as she said: "If you're a giant maybe you just wade."
Charlie was then told off by the show's boss for going off topic as she tried to steer the presenter back on track.
Stayt revealed: "My editor's just told me, 'I think we're going off-topic.'"
