BBC Breakfast presenter Nina Warhurst opened up about her home life as she chatted to her co-star Ben Thompson about what was going on in the newspapers that morning.
Sitting on the red sofa, Ben showed a story where a study showed that families who treat their pets like they are a child can be negatively impacting their health.
As Christmas approaches, many families treat their beloved pet to extravagant presents, which could prove to not be healthy for them.
Ben revealed that getting your dog presents such as a pram to walk them round in or a jumper, it can give them anxiety.
He said: "They're not meant to be looked after like that," as Nina shared her surprise at the revelation.
But the presenter had a confession of her own, as she revealed that she and family are going through "cat training" at the moment.
She said: "She used to like the expensive cat food and we're trying to get her on the cheaper one what with inflation being where it is.
"She keeps turning her nose up at it but we're like 'this is all you're getting'."
She then asked Ben what was the most he had ever spent on a candle, and he replied: "That's a good question, probably way too much."
Nina revealed that £420m is what consumers spend on candles, to which Ben responded: "That's the most I have ever spent."
Meanwhile, fans were thrilled to see Nina and Ben back on their televisions as they asked for the pair to be on screens more often.
One fan wrote: "Can we please have the Ben and Nina combo more often? He’d be a far preferable choice than either Jon or Charlie any day / every day and she’s excellent at every assignment. Time for a change!!"
Another added: "Be great to have you on our screens beautiful Nina."
BBC Breakfast airs weekdays at 6am.
