Captain Lee Rosbach became the face of the growing Below Deck franchise and a huge fan-favourite after it first premiered in 2013. Despite his success, the captain revealed he encountered a rude celebrity guest during one charter.

Captain Lee’s appearance on the show was pleasantly welcomed by fans who proclaimed the 73-year-old the Stud of the Sea.

As well as looks, he was loved for his no-nonsense approach to leading the crew of young yachties on board the 197 ft vessel St. David.

While the show highlights the complex duties of running a yacht, Below Deck also shows the crew catering to affluent and often demanding guests.

While the charter is occasionally accompanied by a celebrity guest, Captain Lee revealed he was left unimpressed by one reality star.

Alongside Southern Hospitality star Leva Bonaparte, the two appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.

During a segment called ‘truth or drink’ the duo were tasked with answer a brutal question or they could opt out and have a drink.

Andy probed: “Was any bravolebrity rude to you? No bravolebrity would ever be rude to you.”

Without identifying the star, Captain Lee responded: “I don’t think she actually knew who I was but It was one of the girls from Dubai.”

Andy clarified: “But she was rude to you?”

“Yeah,” Lee simply responded before they moved on to the next question.

Leva also revealed she too had a distasteful encounter with a reality star at the recent BravoCon.

However, she refused to speak about the incident and instead chose to take a sip of her drink.

But this didn’t stop her from dropping hints about the reality star’s identity.

Leva nodded after Andy asked if they were a star from the East coast.

When probed if it was Real Housewife of New York star Ramona Singer, Leva stated: “I didn’t meet Ramona.”

During season nine, Captain Lee was left unimpressed after some guests were embroiled in a bitter spat during a group dinner.

As the drunken row turned into a swearing battle, Captain Lee sat at the table unimpressed as the crew attempted to simmer the rising tensions.

Taking to his blog, Captain Log, he blasted the guests for their actions and didn’t hold back.

He wrote: “I have done probably hundreds of charters some were great, some not so much,

believe me, I have tried to come up with a descriptive term for how out of place they were, but I couldn’t think of one I could print, and let me tell you something, that speaks volumes.

“I do hope I don’t have the displeasure of having these people on my boat again unless they make a miraculous recovery during the 2nd half of their charter.”
