Ben Shepherd shares he has dreams of being naked

Ben Shephard was issued a warning by ITV bosses on Monday as he stepped in to co-host This Morning.

Presenting alongside Holly Willoughby, the 48-year-old joked he was thrilled to have a lay-in as he is usually seen in the early hours at the helm of Good Morning Britain.

Introducing the show to viewers, Ben said: “What a lovely treat Holly, thank you for inviting me. I’m on my best behaviour.”

Holly replied: “Don’t be too well behaved please!”

The stand-in host added: “They’ve (bosses) told me I’ve got to behave, I’ve got to tidy up after myself and make sure I leave the place clean and tidy.”

Joking that would be nice of him to do, Holly mentioned Ben was able to have a longer sleep today.

He replied: “Three-hour lie-in, are you kidding? My alarm went off at about 6:30- 6:45. What is this? My face looks awake, I didn’t need an iron to sort it out.”

Highlighting Ben wasn’t wearing a suit, as many viewers are used to seeing him in, Holly told him it was like a Sunday for him.

As the pair laughed, the 47-year-old told Holly it was a pleasure to be on the show.

It appeared as though viewers were thrilled to see Ben hosting with many calling for him to become a permanent addition.
