Big Brother star suffers two near death experiences including vicious dog attack

In a testament to his bravery, Big Brother contestant Zak Srakaew has candidly opened up on nearly losing his life twice after being mauled by a dog, and being hit by a motorcycle.

The 28-year-old, who recently became the second housemate to face the crowd after being evicted from the competition, has had an interesting life, to say the least. In an interview on Johny Selfert's 'Secure The Insecure' podcast, the model revealed that he's escaped the jaws of death on numerous occasions, including when he was just a toddler in Thailand.

After attempting to make friends with a rottweiler, the situation took a devastating turn when the animal flipped, and, apparently, 'beat him up'.

In a moment of pure horror, the reality TV star's mother walked in on a truly terrifying scene, in which the dog had left her beloved son covered in blood. He told the The Daily Mail, he said: "I actually walked over to this puppy, and I started picking the puppies up, started playing with them. The mother, she was out, I don't know, looking for food, doing whatever.

"She then came back, she saw me playing with the puppies, boom, she launched herself and grabbed me by the head and started yanking me all over the place, left, right, and centre."

He continued: "My mum and all the other people around the village tried to come to split up their dog, and they managed to split the dog up. You know, my mum's grabbed me, she's picked me up. I was covered in blood. My mum said all that time you still weren't even crying, and you just sat there, blood is dripping down your face."

With urgency at the forefront of his mum's mind, she raced him to the hospital, knowing that he'd need to be seen right away. Upon their arrival, they were warned that the 'operation was going to be too big' and that if he loses any more blood, he may die.

Zak remembered: "My mum didn’t have the money to get the operation done, she did a few cars, and she sold some stuff back at home. The operation cost her pretty much everything she owned, everything she had.

"She then got the operation, stitched me up and that, and, they said, you know, if you would've come a couple of hours later, you probably would've lost him."

Remarkably, he managed to pull through, living to fight another day. However, his luck nearly ran out again, when he was involved in a serious motorcycle accident. The youngster was playing in the middle of the street with his toy car, when the vehicle raced around the corner and sent him flying through the air.

"He confessed: "It must have been going about 60-70 miles per hour. It's hit me. I've gone into the air. I've come down. My mum said, 'You had cuts on your arms, you had cuts on the side of your face, your blood was dripping'. She said, 'You should literally walk back to your car'.

"I mean, walk back to your toy car and pick it up and come and play with it whilst blood was dripping down you, and you didn't pay attention to the pain you was having."
