One Big Brother star has set her sights on joining the cast of The Only Way Is Essex after another reality star was poised to join.
Loyal fans of the ITV show will recall the impact Kerry Richies had on viewers from the outset. The blonde beauty immediately created a stir online with her controversial comments during her time in the famous house.
Despite the fact that the NHS manager was evicted from the show on Halloween (October 31), the TV star has gone from strength to strength since her exit. Now, 40-year-old has revealed that she is in talks with TV bosses about landing a spot on the reality show.

During a livestream with her former housemate, Hallie Clark, the TV star revealed her potential upcoming TV venture. When Hallie asked what she was going in London during their catch-up, Kerry confessed: “I’m in a meeting with someone from TOWIE.”
After hearing the news, one fan to the social media platform X – formerly known as Twitter – to share their surprise online. They wrote: “Omg, that’s kinda iconic, ngl it actually brings the show back to life, casting real people.”
However, not everyone was impressed with her possible return to TV, as one user begged: “Dear ITV, Stop trying to make TOWIE happen.” Another agreed: “Omg no way was that the reason she was that the reason she was talking with Saffron on live? I hope not that would ruin the show I watch religiously!”
But she’s not the only reality star ITV bosses have eyed up for the Essex reality show. Married At First Sight star, JJ Slater was also rumoured to be also joining TOWIE in the near future.
Earlier this week, The Sun reported that the Essex businessman, 30, has “caught the eye” of the show. Fans of the Channel 4 reality show will recall how he initially married Bianca, 29, on the program but later returned to the experiment with Ella Morgan, 29.
Since then, the star has gone on to show off his showbiz lifestyle online, with his jet-setting getaways and lavish nights out. It is now understood that TOWIE bosses want him to join the cast after spotting his reality star potential.
A source told the publication: “JJ has made quite the impact on Married At First Sight, thanks to all the headlines generated by him ‘’wife swapping’ with Ella, and he’s caught the eye of TOWIE bosses. They think he would be a perfect fit for their show – he's from Essex, he looks good and having starred on MAFS, clearly knows how to bring the drama.”
It comes after Big Brother star Dylan Tennant sang the praises of the ITV care team after they assisted him when his limb had “shrunk” on the show. The 39-year-old previously revealed that he had his foot amputated following a fatal car accident.
But Dylan, who was evicted alongside his co-star Paul, said he was given all the help that he required on the show. Talking openly to Daily Star at a round table event, Dylan said: “What was really surprising and really great is that the Big Brother care team here are absolutely amazing.
“They are literally on hand whenever you need the, I did have a problem with my leg while I was in there.”

He went on: “Obviously I had been on my leg more than I had usually been – up for 12 hours a day and running around doing what I got to do – so my limb shrunk and I needed a different sock. Now these socks are not easy to get, and I was like, ‘Ah can you get this for me?’
“And within a couple of days, there was a brand-new sock there and there was a cream for the back of it and there was always someone on hand. So for me it was the surprise on how much the cater for everything.
“Kerry and her MS and the scooter – there was a lift in there and Kerry was the only one who used it. They put a whole lift in there!”
