CAROL Vorderman dazzled in a silk dress four years on from its debut at the Pride Of Britain Awards 2018.

The environmentally-conscious former Countdown host, 61, told her Instagram fans she would again be wearing the four-year-old garment to this year's heartwarming show.


Carol filmed herself in a changing room, arriving in black gym gear.

With the help of some nifty photo editing and filters, she was then seen swirling around in the sparkling attire.

The black gown features a bandeau neckline and flowing skirt section.

Yet he eye-catching appeal comes courtesy of two sparkling diamante panels on either side.

Explaining how her loyal fans would again get to see her sport the frock, Carol wrote in her caption: "In the spirit of hand me downs and sustainability… @ashleybanjogram and I are wearing beautiful outfits for this years Pride of Britain which we’ve worn previously ♻️🤩

"Ash is wearing the suit he wore as best man at @jordbanjo wedding earlier this year and I’m wearing a stunning gown which I wore on stage for POB in 2018.

"The dress is a lovely silk and it’s been a great, sustainable process.

"P.s… they’re NOT real gems around the waist….ha ha."

The telly star is synonymous with the uplifting Pride Of Britain event, which recognises people who have done extraordinary and selfless things.

Back in 2016, she broke down in tears at the event as she thanked the surgeon who saved her life.

Dr David Nott was presented with a Special Recognition Award after he saved Carol's life when she contracted sepsis in 2004.
