CHIEF Keef revealed he has been hospitalized after the bed-ridden rapper posted a photograph of an IV in his arm.
The rapper, whose real name is Keith Farrelle Cozart, was reportedly in hospital as of Tuesday.
Chief Keef posted a photograph on Instagram at roughly 3pm ET of himself appearing to have an IV in his veins.
His arm was propped up onto a pillow and he appeared to be in a clinical facility.
It is unclear why the rapper has the drip in his arm and whether or not he is in the hospital.
Fans of the "Love Sosa" singer flocked to social media to send their well wishes.
"Some prayers for my boy @ChiefKeef whos in the hospital rn. Probably for back surgery from carrying the rap game for so long," shared one fan, as another added: "I hope chief keef good."
Keef, who was born Keith Farrelle Cozart, is a 25-year-old rap artist from Chicago.
He was only 17 when he released his 2012 debut album, Finally Rich, and he has been co-signed by the likes of Kanye West, 50 Cent, Wiz Khalifa and Gucci Mane.
He's credited by many for pioneering so-called "mumble rap" and "drill" sub-genres of rap., and since his debut, his discography now compromises of over 20 mixtapes and albums.
However, he has had a troubled past with the law, and was arrested for aggravated assault and heroin distribution in his early years.
He was banned by Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel from playing a live show in his hometown as a result of his criminal record.
In 2013, Keef signed a lucrative three-album deal that was reportedly worth more than $6 million before taxes, managers fees, lawyers, and expenses.
He was dropped by his label the following year for failing to meet an album sales quota.
The Chicago rapper is a father of nine children by nine different women.
In November 2020 several of the musician's baby mothers demanded he cough up child support payments after allegedly alling behind on his installments.
