Christine Lampard was left in shock when a guest on the Lorraine show said she had to use an axe to kill an animal during a TV show.
Lampard was filling in for Lorraine on her show on Friday (August 4) as the Scotswoman takes off for the summer holidays.
The presenter was hosting a segment promoting the upcoming survival show on Channel 4 'Alone'.

The show sees ordinary Brits being dropped into the Canadian wilderness and left to fend for themselves, with barely any equipment other than a tent and a torch.
Two of the contestants from the show, Pip and Eva, joined the mum-of-one on the show to talk about how they coped.
Host Christine asked the pair how extreme the show was, having been billed one of the greatest tests of human endurance.
The pair said that the show will be something that the UK will have rarely seen before, due to lengths many of the contestants had to go to survive.
Eva said that going into the show, producers had outlined what was protected and what was poisonous, in order to avoid any life-threatening incidents.
"We could pick ten items before we went off a list of basic things. We had to take a sleeping bag cause of how cold it was," she said.
She then gave an insight into what weapons contestants could use to fight in the wild.
"We all took an axe, a knife and a saw, I'm pretty sure. And then, everyone had a few different things, like cooking pots and fishing hooks. No luxuries!"
Christine was clearly interested in the girls' stories, Lampard asked how contestants were able to eat: "Were you starving for the time you were there?!"
She then questioned whether any of the weapons were used – "You didn't have to use the axe did you?"
Eva, an NHS project manager, replied that she did have to use the axe to feed herself, to which Christine looked horrified.
She continued: "I was a vegetarian before I went out".
Christine interrupted, shocked at what she was hearing – "Please tell me you've gone back to being a vegetarian after that experience!"
Eva then said she had returned to being a vegetarian after filming had ended, but admitting the hunting and foraging was particularly hard for her.
The host went on to declare it an "extraordinary experiment", asking Pip whether there was any safety.
Pip said: "It's totally immersive and you have to remain hypervigilant at all times.
"But you do get to a point where even hearing a twig snap, you'll be looking around expecting the worst".
Alone airs on Channel 4 on Sunday at 9pm
