UNIVERSITY Challenge viewers were left frustrated by the teams' VERY annoying habit during the Christmas special.
Host Jeremy Paxman was also growing impatient at the teams representing UCL and the University of Aberdeen at the penultimate heat of the alumni tournament.
Jeremy had to constantly say "come one" to the teams due to their lengthy discussions before giving an answer.
They teams often gave a wrong answer or their time ran out.
Viewers were getting frustrated and impatient with the team's long deliberations.
Taking to Twitter, one said: "Both teams taking far too long to answer."

Another wrote: "Both teams p***ing me off by taking too long.
A third penned: "Was anyone else screaming at the television “GET ON WITH IT!” ?
"Both teams were guilty. I think Jeremy Paxman should dock points for endlessly dithering bonus point discussions."
This comes after the news about Jeremy splitting from his partner after 35 years and Parkinson's diagnosis.

The 72-year-old British TV legend is usually secretive in revealing details of his personal life.
But his agent released an update about his love life last week.
The statement read: “Jeremy Paxman and his partner separated last year. They retain a mutual respect for each other and a deep love for their children.”
Jeremy was in a relationship with Elizabeth Ann Clough and had three children together.
The pair never married and split amicably in 2016 after an impressive 35 years together.
Since his split from Elizabeth, Jeremy has been rumoured to have moved on with book editor Jillian Taylor, who is 29 years his junior.
Jeremy has been pictured with the Canadian leaving his home multiple times.
The couple reportedly met when Jeremy wrote history books such as ‘Empire: What Ruling the World Did to the British’.
Jeremy has also dealt with health concerns in his life as he opened up on Times Radio about his experience with depression.
In May 2021, Jeremy was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.
In a statement to the PA Media news agency, Jeremy said: “I can confirm I have recently been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.
