Coleen Nolan reveals ex-husband Shane Richie invited her to his wedding, but she bailed out at the last minute

COLEEN Nolan has revealed her ex-husband Shane Richie invited her to his wedding, but she bailed out at the last minute.

The Loose Women star felt like she couldn't go through with attending the ceremony even though it was more than a decade after their divorce.

Coleen was married to the EastEnders star for nine years, from 1990 until 1999 and they were parents to two sons together, Shane and Jake.

The marriage broke down after the actor cheated on her, and he remarried 12 years later.

Shane invited Coleen to his wedding as he prepared to tie the knot with Christine Goddard in 1999, and she initially accepted.

However, The Nolans star didn't go through with it and bailed out.

During an appearance on Loose Women today, she said: "Shane invited me to his wedding.

"But at the last minute, I was like: 'No, it's her day.'"

It came as the presenters revealed the show is "cursed" because so many of presenters get divorced after joining the series.

Coleen and Katie Price are among the hosts whose marriages have crumbled since they took a seat on the panel.

The "curse" became a major talking point on the show today as the presenters discussed the large number of Loose Women who suffered marriage problems.

They pointed to Coleen as an example as she recently announced her split from second husband Ray Fensome after spending months trying to save her marriage of 10 years.

Panellist Jane Moore, who insisted her marriage has yet to fall victim to the curse, named Coleen as well as Andrea McLean, who split from husband Steve Toms in 2012.
