Coleen Nolan has admitted that she is terrified over the coronavirus outbreak as she is set to go on a cruise with her sisters to Italy.
Appearing as a panelist on Loose Women today, Coleen said that she had previously not been worried about the virus.
However after hearing how cases had vastly spread around the world over the last seven days, with Italian authorities updating the death toll in the country to 11, she was nervous ahead of her holiday.
A thousand guests in a hotel in Tenerife have also been isolated after an Italian doctor who visited the hotel was found to have contracted the virus.
Speaking on the panel, she said: "I'm actually worried because on Friday I'm about to embark on a cruise with my sisters for a new TV programme that goes around Italy!"
"Oh bad timing," co-star Saira Khan said sympathetically.
Coleen continued: "And I thought I wasn't worried but because everything has come out about Italy now – it's mainly northern Italy at the moment but I'm like, they're saying that but…"
Janet Street-Porter quizzed her on where she was supposed to get on the boat and she revealed that she would step aboard in Genoa.
"We fly into Milan and then we go into Genoa," she said.
Asked how she felt going on lockdown with the rest of the Nolans, Coleen said: "Well, I was slightly worried about the two weeks we've got of filming and then I'm thinking, god, have we got another two weeks in quarantine? I'm going to take my chances!"
But she added: "I didn't think I was going to be worried but I am. Everyone else is worrying me because everyone I've talked to about it has gone, 'Oh, I don't know if I'd go!'"
