In upcoming Coronation Street episodes, Aadi (played by Adam Hussain) tries to support Dev (Jimmi Harkishin) after he faces a humiliating situation. The youngster defends his dad and suggests they get away for a lads’ holiday together. However, it doesn’t take long for Dev to upset Aadi, and with the ITV soap teasing a devastating car accident involving the trio as they set off on holiday, could Aadi be the reason behind the tragedy?

The incident starts off with Dev becoming intrigued when Natasha Blakeman (Rachel Leskovac) mentions she is considering buying the closed salon so that Sam Blakeman (Jude Riordan) can be closer to his dad and the Platt family.

Bernie Winter (Jane Hazlegrove) notices Dev’s interest in Natasha.

Feeling jealous, she’s pleased to discover that Natasha isn’t interested in Dev, but decides to wind him up and let him think Natasha has the hots for him.

Bernie finds it hilarious as Dev flirts with Natasha and asks her out, only to be turned down flat and told he’s got the wrong end of the stick.

Furious and embarrassed, Dev tackles Bernie, who tells him in no uncertain terms what she thinks of him.

Having overheard the row, Aadi sticks up for his dad, listing all the reasons why he’s a great father.

To help the shop owner get over the Natasha debacle, Aadi suggests a lads’ holiday for the two of them at a swish campsite.

Dev is instantly cheered up by the idea and gets planning with his son.

As the two excitedly discuss their holiday plans, they’re interrupted by the arrival of Asha Alahan (Tanisha Gorey) who’s clearly upset.

Aadi becomes angry when Dev tells him he has asked Asha to come with them to cheer her up because she is upset over Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher).

As Dev struggles to arrange both Asha and Aadi’s holiday requirements, the latter becomes resigned to the fact that yet again, his sister’s needs come first.

Feeling more and more resentful towards his father and twin, Aadi could become filled with anger and may decide to take drastic action.

Official Coronation Street spoilers have revealed some of the tragic consequences of an upcoming rainstorm, with one being the Alahan’s involved in a potentially fatal car accident.

Dev, Aadi and Asha prepare to leave for their family holiday, but as thunder crashes overhead, they find themselves lost on a country road.

Dev is later forced to make the heartbreaking decision of which of his kids he will drag from the wreck of his burning car.

But could Aadi have caused the car crash in a fit of rage?

It’s possible that he becomes fed up with Asha receiving all of their father’s attention, and might snap during the car journey, causing the devastating accident.

Another possibility is that Aadi causes the accident in a premeditated plan by interfering with the car itself.

Aadi clearly wanted to spend a few days alone with his dad and becomes upset to learn Asha will be accompanying them.

If he does go as far as to cause an accident, he will probably come to regret his actions, as the crash become extremely serious.

Dev, Asha and Aadi find themselves caught in the burning vehicle, with the former eventually having to choose which of his children to save.

Will Aadi and Asha manage to escape the wreck of the car?

Elsewhere, Audrey Roberts (Sue Nicholls) cracks open the fizz in the Rovers and reveals that she’s paying for Gail Platt’s (Helen Worth) sinkhole repairs so that Natasha can go ahead and buy the salon.

Natasha is over the moon to be able to follow her ambitions.

Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) and Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) return to the street to find Natasha taking photos of the salon.

When she reveals that she’s in the process of buying it, they’re delighted for her.

Coronation Street continues on Monday at 7.30pm on ITV.
