PETER Barlow is given a new lease of life next week in Coronation Street when the doctors find a donor liver for him.

Next week, Steve is aghast when he walks in on Peter and Carla mid romp in the living room.
Peter is in for another shock when he receives a call from his transplant coordinator, telling him they’ve found a liver for him.
Meanwhile, newcomer Sharon Bentley hatches a plan to track down Leanne Battersby’s hideaway and invites Peter for a coffee.
When Peter declines, Sharon steals Gail’s laptop and breaks into it to find Nick’s mobile number.
When Sharon overhears Sarah talking about Sam’s birthday party, she decides to use the youngster to get to Leanne, promising him she’ll organise a meeting between him and his father.

Meanwhile, Simon escapes from Nick and Leanne’s clutches and turns up at the hospital to see Peter.
Simon tells Peter and Carla that he’s not going back to the hideout.
As they finally persuade him to leave, Peter is horrified to hear the cleaner reporting Simon’s whereabouts.
As Peter tries to stop him, the cleaner launches a violent attack against him as Simon does a runner.
Will Simon make it back to Leanne in one piece?
Corrie viewers were left in tears last week as an emotional Peter insisted on racing against time to tie the knot with Carla.
As the proceedings began, it became clear that Peter was struggling to stay conscious.
After reading their vows, the couple were declared legally married, but disaster struck when they returned home and Peter immediately collapsed onto the cobbles.
