Coronation Street's Stephen Reid looks set to kill again next week on the hit ITV soap as he targets his third victim on the cobbles.
In upcoming scenes, Peter Barlow is stunned to find Stephen in charge at the factory and he accuses the staff of stabbing Carla Connor in the back.
Later, a scheming Stephen is about to sign the American contract when Rufus Donahue appears and tells him to tear it up as he wants sole rights to Nippersnapper.
Threatening Stephen, Rufus says if he doesn't play ball, he'll tell everyone how he's been drugging Carla….
Viewers will recall that Stephen has been spiking Carla's drink with LSD recently as "vile" revenge, which recently resulted in Carla woozily driving the Underworld van into Paul Foreman who was on Peter's bike.
Picking up the hole punch, a furious Stephen approaches Rufus… will Stephen kill again and is this his third victim?
Viewers will recall that Stephen murdered Leo Thompkins last year and recently murdered the latter's father, Teddy Thompkins, after he grew suspicious of Stephen.
It remains to be seen what happens next but later in the week Stephen lies to Sarah, making out that the Americans have pulled out of the contract.
While Peter visits Carla and drops the bombshell that the factory workers have voted to put Stephen in charge.
Has murderer Stephen silenced Rufus or will the truth about him spiking Carla with LSD be exposed to the cobbles?
It comes as Stephen star Todd Boyce recently said of his character: "He is perfectly capable of being charming – he has got Elaine, Rita, Jenny and Sarah fooled but men can be a bit wary of him. It is such a veneer, he is pretty shameless."
