CORONATION Street star Hayley Tamaddon has been rushed to hospital with a mystery illness.

The 45-year-old – who Andrea Beckett in the ITV soap – shared a worrying snap from her hospital bed on social media.

Hayley took to Instagram to let her fans know what she had been up to this bank holiday weekend.

However it didn't go to plan as the soap star ended up in hospital.

The Emmerdale actress took a picture from above that showed a drip attached to her arm, while she was wrapped up in blankets.

Hayley captioned the post: "So.. not the greatest of weekends.."

Hayley has not shared what is wrong with her.

Back in July the Waterloo Road star gave fans a health update after contracting Covid.

Hayley explained that the bug "floored" her and made her "very ill".

The mum-of-one explained: "Like many others, I now seem to be experiencing symptoms which are attributed to Long Covid – a permanent headache, ringing in my ears, no energy and I feel totally fatigued."

She explained that she went on to seek traditional medical avice, but also looked at alternative ways to support her wellness – and ended up taking supplements.

Back in March Hayley revealed that she was no longer with her fiancé Adrian.

The star, who has a young son called Jasper, told fans on Mother's Day earlier this year.

The former Emmerdale star got engaged to estate agent Adrian just weeks after revealing she was pregnant back in 2019.

Revealing they were no longer together, the Dancing On Ice winner wrote: “This Mother’s Day is different for me as I’m now a single mum.

“Mine and Jasper’s life has been turned upside down over the past few months but I realise the best thing to come out of this is Jasper. For he is all I need… and all I’ve ever wanted.

“He makes me so happy! I never set out to be a single parent… but I DID set out to be the best mum I could be, and that hasn’t changed. I’m so lucky I get to be his mummy.

“And I’m very proud of myself for overcoming the many obstacles I’ve faced since he was born.

“To any other single mamas out there… I salute you.”

The former couple were pals for five years before turning their relationship romantic.

Hayley has also starred in the likes of Emmerdale, Shameless, Dancing On Ice, Waterloo Road and Eaten by Lions.
