Coronation Street: The Barlow’s interrogate Peter
Coronation Street could see another couple ripped apart over jealousy as Asha Alahan (played by Tanisha Gorey) strikes up a new bond.
In upcoming scenes, Asha reveals she’s meeting Isla, her work friend for lunch, someone Nina has never met before.
However, a deflated Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher) reminds her they’re meant to be spending the day together.
Later, Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney) and Asha discuss the anti-spiking demo that’s due to take place in town.
Overhearing their conversation, Nina is put out and annoyed that Asha never mentioned it to her.

Elsewhere, Asha and Nina enjoy drinks at the Chariot Square, but Asha’s horrified to see Courtney Vance (Stephanie Davis) and Darren Vance (Ryan Early) together.
She leaps to her feet, accusing Courtney of cheating on Aadi Alahan (Adam Hussain), unaware of the situation.
But when Nina explains that Aadi and Courtney split up two weeks ago, Asha’s outraged that she kept it from her.
Once over their lover’s tiff, Asha arranges for them to meet Isla for lunch but Nina’s thrown when Asha arrives dressed to the nines.

Asha and Isla chat about work whilst Aadi listens, bored senseless, with no one noticing that Nina feels sidelined.
Is this the end for Nina and Asha? Will Asha end up leaving Nina for Isla?
Asha recently began to really enjoy her work, especially when Isla arrived on the scene, making it more of a job.
Actress Tanisha recently opened up about the upcoming storyline and told Digial Spy: “Asha is so excited.
“She wants to really dive into this job and really, really do it justice. So I think that sort of overwhelms her a little bit.
“She is paired with this amazing paramedic who’s been there for years. She knows what she’s doing, she’s seen it all.
“I think she’s so overwhelmed and so excited, she sort of idolises her, in a way. Asha wants to be her. Asha wants to know everything she knows, do everything she does sort of thing.”
Coronation Street airs Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
