Coronation Street: Stephen Reid commits second murder
Coronation Street viewers believe the police may be forced to chase Stephen Reid (played by Todd Boyce) as he attempts to flee the country.
In recent scenes, the killer’s past crimes start to catch up with him after the body of Leo Thompkins (Joe Frost) is discovered.
After murdering and dumping Leo’s dad, Teddy Thompkins’ (Grant Burgin), body in the canal and drowning Rufus Donahue (Steven Meo), he knows the police will start to link him to their deaths and disappearances.
Not wanting to get caught, he’s managed to persuade new beau Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews) to move to Thailand with him, as she’s unaware he’s trying to flee the country.
With his downfall looming and Carla Connor (Alison King) realising he was the person responsible for spiking her with LSD, viewers think it’ll result in an epic chase with the police.

As the truth starts to close in on Stephen, it looks as though Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) has put himself in danger.
In scenes set to air next week, Tim decides to investigate the canal after spotting the killer acting suspiciously there a few days prior.
Prodding around in the water he’s stunned when the hand of a corpse floats to the surface.
Running back to his taxi to call the police, the line cuts out and before he has a chance to tell them about the dead body, Stephen climbs into the back of the car.
Trying to strangle him with a tie, Tim manages to flee the scene as he makes a run for it.
However, he trips on his shoelace and stumbles on the floor, although he manages to get up, Stephen knocks him over the head with a brick.
As his lies, schemes and killings start to catch up to him, has Tim found himself next on Stephen’s hit list?
Coronation Street continues Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on ITV from 8pm.
