Coronation Street's Alan Halsall, Andy Whyment, Colson Smith and Sam Aston reunite for a Nandos

CORONATION Street's Alan Halsall, Andy Whyment, Colson Smith and Sam Aston reunited for a Nandos today.

The soap stars are firm friends and grinned for the camera on a lads' lunch.

Alan – who plays Tyrone Dobbs on the ITV soap – captioned the selfie of their catch-up on his Instagram Story: "Spot of lunch with this bunch."

Alan, 39, Andy, 40, and Colson, 23, attended Sam's wedding to yoga teacher Briony in 2019, and the trio joined him on his boozy stag do to Edinburgh.

Alan revealed their antics on Instagram at the time and posted a photo of him and Sam – with the groom dressed up in a tiny tartan kilt, bright orange wig, sporran, and white t-shirt.

He also uploaded several photos of a table packed with pints of beer and a shot of Edinburgh’s historic castle.

Sam, who’s played lovable Chesney for 16 years, grinned as he posed in a pub with a sign saying "I hate yoga".

In May that year he wed Briony in front of family and friends including his Corrie co-stars at Stock Farm in Cheshire.

They performed a yoga-themed first dance for guests.

Now two years on, they are expecting their second child together.

They announced the news last month with a sweet photo of 14-month-old son Sonny with four pumpkins in front of him – two big, and two smaller.

Wearing a sweet rainbow jumper, the tot is holding up a sign that reads: "We're adding another pumpkin to our patch!

"Due Spring 2022".

Sam was just 10 years old when he joined the ITV soap as Chesney, and has grown up on screen.
