Coronation Street: Daisy and Ryan have heart-to-heart in hospital

It looks like Coronation Street’s Daisy Midgeley’s (played by Charlotte Jordan) future is about to be decided following her shocking affair.

Over the past few months, Daisy has grown closer to Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) and has developed feelings for him despite being engaged to Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard).

Although she’s tried to stay away, temptation took over and the pair slept together in recent scenes.

With her fiancé in the dark about her infidelity, Ryan and Daisy have been blackmailed by Lauren Bolton (Cait Fritton) who is threatening to tell Daniel everything unless they pay her.

However, it looks as though she may not have to as official spoilers for the ITV soap reveal Daniel may be about to discover everything for himself.

In scenes set to air next week, Daisy continues to lie to Daniel and tells him she’s spending the night at her mum’s.

However, when Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews) starts to question her about her plans, Daisy crumbles and reveals everything.

Admitting she’s planning on spending the night with Ryan, she explains her dilemma and shares that she loves both Daniel and Ryan in different ways.

Confiding in Jenny, Daisy tells her she doesn’t know what, although she’s urged to make up her mind before it’s too late.

Elsewhere, Daniel spots Ryan getting into a taxi and asking to be taken to the Chariot Square Hotel.

Suspicious about them both leaving Weatherfield at the same time, Daniel decides to follow him after a phone call with Daisy’s mum.

At the hotel, Ryan and Daisy head to their room when she finally decides which man she wants to be with.

Explaining that things aren’t going to work out between them as she loves Daniel, she doesn’t know he’s also at the hotel.

As Daniel is determined to find out the truth about what’s going on behind his back, it looks as though Daisy’s decision may be too late.

Speaking to Digital Spy about what could happen once Daniel finds out, soap star Rob Mallard teased Ryan should be worried.

Rob said: “He’s (Daniel) pushed an 80-year-old man down the stairs and he’s pushed a teenager down the stairs so he doesn’t discriminate.

“If you fall between the ages of 15 and death you could be going down the stairs!”

Coronation Street continues Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on ITV from 8pm.
