CORONATION Street’s Lucy Fallon has broken her silence on rumours she is pregnant again.

Lucy, 27, gave birth to her first child, Sonny, in January of this year with boyfriend and Preston North End footballer Ryan Ledson, 25.

She took to Instagram last night to share a cryptic post with fans, which showed a screengrab of a recent Google search that she had carried out.

The star revealed she had typed into the online search engine 'can you run a marathon while pregnant?'.

Lucy penned over the top of her photo: "Not running a marathon, also not pregnant."

The actress – who plays the iconic Bethany Platt – recently revealed she will be reprising her role in Coronation Street after a three year break from acting.

Lucy played the troubled teen for five years and was part of some huge storylines.

She won the Best Female Dramatic Performance award at the 2018 British Soap Awards for her incredible acting in the controversial child grooming storyline.

Bethany was last seen in 2020 leaving the cobbles to pursue a career in journalism and work for a magazine in London.

Before her exit, Bethany was in an ill-fated relationship with Daniel Osbourne, who was still grieving over his wife Sinead.

A TV source told The Sun: “Bosses reached out to her a few weeks ago about the possibility of coming back, and told her everything they’d planned for Bethany if she agreed.

“She discussed it with her boyfriend, and family, because she’s a mum now with a baby.

“Once they’d talked about childcare, and how best to juggle it all, she was able to say she’d love to return. Everyone is very excited."

Filming for Bethany’s big comeback scenes will begin in the coming months, however, these scenes are set to air after Christmas.
