Corrie fans go wild as real-life siblings share rare scene together on ITV soap

Coronation Street fans went wild on Monday night as real-life siblings William and Isabella Flanagan shared a rare scene together on the hit ITV soap.

The two youngsters play Joseph Brown and Hope Stape on the cobbles and the two characters appeared in several scenes together during the latest episodes.

Soap fans were quick to share their excitement over the real-life siblings sharing a rare scene together as they took to Twitter to praise the duo's acting skills.

One person said: "Nice to see Hope & Joseph, getting storylines together, seein' as though they're brother & sister in real-life… #Corrie."

A different account put: "I love these scenes with Hope & Joseph knowing they’re siblings in real life #Corrie."

Another soap watcher commented: "Aw how lovely. Hope and Joseph, real life brother and sister in a scene together. Really talented actors #Corrie."

A different viewer wrote: "Hope and Joseph bonding. Great to see considering they are brother and sister in real life #Corrie."

While another soap fan added: "I can’t believe the 2 actors that play Joseph and Hope are twins in real life. #Corrie #CoronationStreet."

William and Isabella also have a famous older sister, Amelia Flanagan, who plays April Windsor on Emmerdale.

The acting trio's father Chris Flanagan was quick to share his pride on Monday night as he liked several Corrie fans' tweets praising William and Isabella on the ITV soap.

During the episode, Joseph admitted that his father Chesney Brown hadn't paid for his school trip yet and didn't have the money for a new jumper.

Hope decided to take matters into her own hands as she stole mother Fiz Stape's purse and told Joseph to "help himself" to the cash.

Joseph pointed out it was stealing but Hope encouraged him and Fiz walked in just as the youngster was taking cash out of her purse.

After Joseph explained it was for the school trip and apologised, Fiz was left concerned after she discovered that he was also being bullied at school.
