    Coronation Street fans were left cringing at their TV screens as Peter Barlow overheard Ryan Connor having a rather saucy phone sex session.

    As viewers will know Ryan (Ryan Prescott) has been posting intimate content on an OnlyFans-style site, O-Vidz – and has amassed a large following.

    And in Wednesday’s episode (September 20) Ryan received a message from one of his subscribers offering to pay him extra cash if he'll make a live video for them and talk dirty.

    Ryan agreed but unfortunately for him, Peter (Chris Chris Gascoyne) overheard the entire thing.

    Ryan said: "Do you like a bit of that?" Riling up his subscriber, he added: "So what kind of things do you want to do to me then?"

    Peter could then be seen listening in close to Ryan's door, as Ryan told his follower: "I like that too, really gets me going." Fans watching the awkward scenes unfold were left cringing and rushed over to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their thoughts.

    One quipped: “Well that sounds dirty, I wonder what Ryan is doing.” Another added: “Oh no Ryan,” while a third quipped: “Peter hearing Ryan having phone sex,” followed by a laughing face emoji.

    Someone else chimed in and said: “omg the secondhand embarrassment i have rn over peter hearing ryan.” Stunned, Peter soon told Carla about what he heard – leaving Carla just as gobsmacked.

    Daisy Midgeley's (Charlotte Jordan) overheard and went round to Ryan's to demand what's going on – where he revealed all. Ryan's decision to strip off for cash comes after he was struggling with his self-esteem following the horrific acid attack earlier this year.

    Michelle Connor's son, Ryan stepped in front of Daisy after her stalker Justin Rutherford (Andrew Still) tried to throw the liquid over her on her wedding day. Ryan then turned to the subscription site – where he's struck up some sort of a relationship with a user named Liv.
