Corrie fans plead for Sally’s release as she begs for help after brutal attack

Coronation Street fans are pleading with show bosses to get Sally Metcalfe out of prison.

The knicker stitcher’s life behind bars got off to the worst start possible when she was brutally attacked.

Terrified Sally was left bloodied and bruised after coming to blows with her cruel cellmate.

Sally’s pride got the better of her once more as she naively revealed she used to be Mayor of Weatherfield and her husband runs a taxi firm.

Sensing an opportunity to get some money, her nasty cellmate demanded Sally’s phone credit.

Sally tried to be diplomatic and offered to share after she made calls to her worried family.

But her fellow prisoner wasn’t willing to negotiate and started getting in Sally’s face.

She said: "Tell you what you have a word with that rich husband of yours and he can buy me some extra credit."
