Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown) has had quite the impact on Coronation Street viewers.

Arriving at the end of September, Dee-Dee made her way to Weatherfield all the way from a posh job in LA.

Extremely chaotic when she’s not doing her work, Dee-Dee has been a breath of fresh air, with many Corrie viewers commenting on how glad they are that she’s just a normal character with no sinister secrets.

Working as a lawyer, Dee-Dee was recently offered a job by Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) after she managed to have Stu’s (Bill Fellows) case overturned.

Dee-Dee happily accepted, which has now left many wondering what the dynamic will be like between the two.

‘There will be nothing untoward going on there – definitely not!’, Channique Sterling-Brown told Inside Soap Magazine.

‘I think Adam and Dee-Dee are going to be a really fun team. She’ll annoy him because she’s chaotic and whirl-windy, but at the end of it he’ll value her as a lawyer above all else, and people will enjoy that dynamic.’

‘And as for romance…’, she added.

‘Men are a luxury for Dee-Dee – not a necessity’.

Honestly? We have no choice but to stan.
