Coronation Street lads Colson Smith, Jack P Shepherd and Ben Price were spotted out and about in the Manchester sunshine while on a break from filming this week.
Famed for playing police officer Craig Tinker, 23 year old Colson sported a mint green T-shirt and grey shorts; David Platt star Jack, 35, kicked back in a red and white Hawaiian-style shirt with rolled-up black jeans, and Nick Tilsley's Ben, 51, opted for an all-black wardrobe as temperatures soared across England.
An unknown baseball-capped pal – possibly a Corrie crew member – joined them as the soap trio chilled out at a park table.
It's been a week packed with Weatherfield get-togethers, as just two days ago the likes of Daniel Brocklebank, Claire Sweeney, Joe Duttine, Sally Carman, Andy Whyment and Peter Ash journeyed down to London on the train for the National Television Awards.
As for the iconic ITV soap itself, which first broadcast on our screens over 60 years ago, the shocking affair between Courtney Vance and Aadi Alahan will soon be stumbled upon by the latter's father Dev.
Corrie star Ryan Early, who plays Courtney's businessman husband Darren, recently teased how this romantic twist will go down amongst the other characters when it's blown wide open.
"When the truth comes out in the bistro it plays out like a thriller!" he began. "Courtney confesses the affair and gives Darren the hint that it’s somebody close to him. Then the whole thing begins to unravel.
"Darren starts going mad with paranoia, he feels like everyone around him is a suspect and of course the first person he suspects is Dev. But then when he finds out it’s Aadi, this boy, it’s humiliating. Darren is in his 40s and suddenly his wife is with an 18 year old."
Soon enough, though, savvy Darren gets the upper hand on his teenage rival after realising Aadi has "got nothing to offer" his unfaithful wife.
"Darren won’t go running to his wife begging her to come back. He’ll try to match her in the humiliation stakes," Ryan, 44, went on to reveal ahead of these scenes airing.
"He’ll make her pay emotionally. He will also point out to her exactly what she’s losing and remind her that her life will be a hell of a lot less comfortable without him, without the attention and without the credit card.
"He’ll make this a hell of a lot worse before it can even begin to get better."
As for the actor's enjoyment of joining the Weatherfield ranks earlier this year, he candidly reflected: "The first 10 years of my career, especially when I was young, I was either playing rubbish coppers making lots of mistakes or I was mugging old ladies!
"When you hit your 40s you feel like you’ve arrived as an actor. You’re a bit more rough around the edges and crinkly around the eyes but the stories are richer. And it makes acting much more exciting."
Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV.
