Coronation Street's Ben Price appeared to 'let slip' the factory roof collapse culprit live on today's Good Morning Britain.
Showbiz reporter Richard Arnold headed down to the cobbles to quiz some of the cast on who was responsible.
A hooded figure was seen climbing on top of Underworld before it came crashing down on Monday night's Corrie.
One of the suspects is devious Nick Tilsley, who wants revenge on Carla Connor, but actor Ben accused some other major characters.
Faced with claims his character is the villain, Ben jokingly pointed at Sally Dynevor and Andrew Whyment.
Their respective characters, Sally Metcalfe and Kirk Sutherland, are both buried under the rubble.
Therefore it would be a massive twist if either of the factory workers were behind the roof collapse.
Hitting back at the allegation, Andrew said: "I [Kirk] was in there eating crisps."
When asked if his character was responsible, Ben said: "I might be. I can't tell you."
Turning round to look at the rubble, he continued: "I didn’t expect it to be like that when I came out and saw it."
Teasing viewers, he added: "I might have done it, I might not."
Richard joked that he didn't realise Sally had been "carrying so much Christmas weight" after smashing through the roof.
Giggling actor Sally said: "I did didn’t I. Just one step back and that was it."
She added: "It's been a bad six months really."
They were also joined by Dolly-Rose Campbell, who plays Gemma Winter.
On speculation she will give birth to quadruplets, she said: "I don't know anything about that. I hope not."
When asked if Gemma and Chesney would cope, she replied: "Absolutely not."
*Coronation Street airs tonight on ITV at 7.30pm and 8.30pm
