Shayne Ward looks almost unrecognisable in new snaps as she showed off his dramatic hair transformation.

The 38-year-old star left fans shocked on Thusday (July 20) as he shared new selfies on Instagram.

He debuted his new curly hair after ditching his trademark shaved look.

The father of two looked into the distance in one snap and posed for two selfies, showcasing a mop of thick brunette hair.

Former Coronation Street star Shayne captioned his post: "My hair is growing and growing and growing and there is nothing you can do about it!"

Shayne played Aidan Connor in Coronation Street from 2015 until his heartbreaking death in 2018.

He started dating former Hollyoaks star Sophie Austin back in 2016.

They got engaged in December 2017 and are parents to children Willow and Reign.

Shayne, who won the second series of The X Factor, recently shared sweet family snaps from Reign's christening.

Captioning the pictures, they said: "Thankyou to the talent that is @tompitfieldphotography for capturing these and so many special moments @inflatetocelebrate for making the room look so beautiful for us!

"His amazing godparents whom he is so lucky to have by his side."

They went on to list the beauticians who had helped Sophie get ready for the big day, thanking: "Make up @esthermichellebean, glow @fakebake_uk @siobhan_obeauty, dress @hopeandivylondon."

Shayne and Sophie's youngest child was christened last month, with their closest friends and family in attendance.

Reign's first birthday fell on the same day, and so Shayne and Sophie held a double celebration.
