Coronation Street's serial killer Stephen Reid may finally be exposed by his neighbours on the cobbles, as Carla Connor makes a shocking realisation.

Next week, Jenny tells Stephen that although she can see the appeal of moving to Thailand on a permanent basis, it’s a pipedream and a holiday will do.

But Stephen quickly shows her a picture of a bar in Thailand and explains that a friend owns it and he’s looking for a new manager, and Jenny realises he is being serious. Will she go along with his plan?

Meanwhile, Carla is horrified when she opens the letter from the clinic confirming that there were traces of LSD in her hair sample, and believes Rufus was the culprit, but realises the timing doesn't work out.

Later, in the factory Carla grimaces as she takes a sip of a coffee made by Michael, who points out that normally Stephen or Sarah make the coffee.

Carla freezes as the truth dawns on her, and she drags Stephen into the office and tells him she knows he spiked her drinks with LSD and she’s going to prove it and storms out.

She shares her suspicions about Stephen with DS Swain, but she’s frustrated when DS Swain asserts that it’s mere speculation and she needs proper evidence.

Meanwhile, after hearing Stephen talking to Jenny about moving to Thailand Sarah reminds him he still owes Audrey the money from the house, but Stephen insists it is just a holiday.

As Stephen heads towards Rita’s flat he freezes when he hears ‘Sexy Boy’, the ringtone he heard by the canal.

He turns to see Tim answering his phone and realises with horror that Tim must have followed him that night – is Tim in danger as Stephen plots to eliminate him?

But Stephen may soon be making a quick getaway as Jenny calls in the Kabin and tells Rita she’s made her mind up and she’s moving to Thailand and she tells a thrilled Stephen the news.

Is he about to get away with murder?
