COUNTDOWN’s COLIN Murray scolded a contestant for making him feel ‘like an afterthought’ after he made a dig at the show’s rival – Bargain Hunters.
Fan favorite, Colin Murray and lovable Rachel Riley were back hosting, as contestants raced against the clock to pit their wits against vowels, consonants and numbers.
The latest episode saw 20-year-old student, Jack Davies compete against new contestant Shad Chokdar – with them taking on the iconic letters round and the numbers round.
As the contestants were introduced, Colin spoke to 20-year-old student, Jack Davies.
“Even though you are only 20 years old, this isn’t your first TV rodeo, is it?” Colin asked Jack.
The contestant responded: “No, no, it isn’t. I’ve been on Bargain Hunt with one of my friend’s.”
Colin then asked him how he did on Bargain Hunt, and he replied: “We did it ok, it was a really good experience, filming.”
“I feel a little bit like an afterthought now.” Colin quipped.
