We hope you haven’t bought a hat for the third Love Island wedding, because Danny Dyer has got a few things to say about his daughter Dani and Jack Fincham tying the knot and having babies.
(Oh please don’t piss on our chips, Danny.)
Although we know the EastEnders legend is a big fan of “proper geezer” Jack, it seems Danny is wary about the newly-crowned Love Island champions rushing into anything.
“As much as I love Dani, and of course I’m overjoyed we had her, I would advise her to have children later on in life,” Danny told the Daily Star.
Danny and his wife Jo Mas were both 20 when they had Dani, but Dyer Sr has advised that the loved-up couple should “live your life first”.
“There are benefits to having kids early, but you lose a lot of your own childhood and self-discovery. It was a 24-hour-a-day thing – the baby put a lot of stress on our relationship.”
Detailing the impact that settling down has on the, uh… important parts of a relationship, Danny continued: “Sex goes out the window a little bit and you have to start earning properly, [there’s] no f**king about any more.”
As it turns out, Dani and Jack’s plans to get married and start a family might be hard to put into action – after all, Dani has revealed that her parents are “really strict” when it comes to boys.
“I’m not allowed boys usually in the house. They’re really strict on me,” she said. “[My dad] knows what sort of boys I’ve spoken to so he’s like, ‘Dan, I don’t want to know. He ain’t allowed in here.'”
Love Island will return for one final episode this Sunday (August 5) at 9pm on ITV2.
