Celebs Go Dating star Vanessa Feltz was seen getting emotional on Wednesday’s episode of the show (August 30) revealing she still struggles with the breakdown of her relationship to her ex-partner.

Vanessa, 61, is looking for love after she dumped the Phats and Small singer Ben Ofoedu, 50, after he admitted to cheating and sext-messaging another woman behind her back.

The TV star has faced a series of awkward dates on the show so far.

She sat down with restaurant owner Paul, who says he came a long way to meet her.

Blunt Vanessa clearly wasn't happy after she questioned why he serves Hawaiian pizza in his Italian restaurant and things didn't improve when he told her it felt like he was being interviewed.

When she sat down to recap her failures with relationship expert, Anna Williamson, she was asked if the failure of her relationship Ben was stopping her from enjoying the experience

“it’s devastating really,” she agreed.

“I’m very sad and sorry that I chose to place love and trust and confidence in somebody who treated me so brutally and so roughly.

“I still feel very sad and very hurt. I’m doing absolutely everything I can to build back up and this is part of it.”

Fans had mixed reaction on Twitter.

“Vanessa gets all of the rubbish reviews it’s hilarious #CelebsGoDating I do feel bad for her at the same time though. There’s only so much a person can take rejection tbf…,” said one fan.

A second penned: “Vanessa’s issue is she seems to get so mad at her date if they’re not a perfect match! It’s no one’s fault you’re just not going to fall in love with everyone you meet…”

But many fans accused to star of being a “diva” and showing disrespectful behaviour as she rejected the contructive criticism from Anna and refused to concede any wrongdoing on her disastrous dates.

“Someone needs to speak to Vanessa. Knock her down a peg or two cos this women is disrespectful as fu*k”

Another chimed in: “@VanessaOnAir being so judgemental on the guy who has Hawaiian pizza in an Italian restaurant like her life depends on it,” while a third blasted: “What the hell is wrong with Vanessa Feltz x is she acting up for the cameras x she is coming across as a right bloody dragon x vile x is she still upset from her last relationship and taking it out on everybody else or is she just a nasty person? “
