Kendall Rae-Knight became Love Island’s first dumpee on tonight’s show after Adam Collard recoupled with newcomer Rosie Williams, leaving her high and dry.
But the shoe shop worker from Blackpool isn’t wasting her tears on the former Geordie Shore star, admitting that she’d be keen for a date with dishy doctor Alex George.
"Yeah, definitely, I’d be up for going on a date with Alex. He’s a very, very interesting person when you sit down and speak to him. He is very genuine," she said
"He gives amazing advice, he’s interested in everyone. He’s a really, really lovely guy."
As for why the doctor has been down on his luck – having been rejected by partner Samira Mighty and Hayley Hughes – she believes girls are looking for bad boys, but Alex is "an absolute angel."
Asked whether he should try a change of tack to land the ladies, she adds, "I don’t think he should change anything, I think he’s perfect the way that he is!"
Kendall’s shock exit comes after an emotionally fraught week which saw her happily couple with Niall Aslam before being swept off her feet by latecomer Adam.
Having recently split from her fiancé after he called off their engagement because he didn’t love her anymore, she warned Adam, 22, that she wanted to take it slowly.
But the frisky hunk quickly grew frustrated and moved onto pastures new, snogging Rosie and choosing her at the recoupling.
So does Kendall regret ditching Niall for Adam?
"I don’t look back on regret. I didn’t pick Adam, Adam picked me so I had no control over that. Obviously it wasn’t the best situation for Niall but we still really got on as friends," she said.
Admitting she didn’t feel the same ‘instant attraction’ for Niall as she did for Adam and his 15 abs, Kendall admitted, "Adam was my type and there was nobody else that I was interested in."
And she insists she wasn’t surprised by his decision to move onto Rosie, who she believes was ready to move as quickly as Adam.

"I kind of expected the recoupling… Adam said he always had to reassure me, so maybe it was just my way of wanting to be in the villa – he couldn’t see himself being with me.
"He was fully ready to go like ahead and obviously Rosie was, so I do sort of get that and I think they’ll be really good together," she insisted.
"She’s a lovely girl, she’s so sweet, she came in and handled herself very well and went with what she wanted and obviously Adam was her type. [There are] no hard feelings."
But she staunchly defends the muscle man against claims he’s a game player, insisting he was ‘genuine’ from the start.
"I think he handled it all really, really well with the boys. He didn’t tread on anybody’s toes or come in thinking he was better than anyone. He was a real gentleman with all of that," she said, although they jury’s still out on whether Niall would say the same.
During her brief stay – which saw her cry over both Niall and Adam – fans grew increasingly worried that she’d thrown herself back into the dating game too quickly.
However, while she admitted she found it harder than expected, she believes she was more than ready to move on from her ex.
"I was definitely ready, I did Love Island for myself. I wasn’t doing it to get back at him or anything like that," said the reality star, who stuck to one glass of rose a night because she ‘knows her limits’.
Revealing she’s still on speaking terms with her ex as they try to sell the house they shared, she continued, "We did have a lovely relationship, there was no bitterness towards him.
"I was definitely ready to move on, I just didn’t realise how hard I would find it… how tricky it was compared to everybody else who found it easier than myself.
"I found myself getting quite emotional whereas back home I probably wouldn’t. I’m not used to dating, I’d been with him for five years and since then I’ve dated one person."
Kendall pulled a blinder though, not telling her former boyf that she was going into the villa.
"He didn’t know, I do think he would have been shocked, I don’t think he would have thought that was something that I would do," she added.
She believes Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham could win the show because they ‘really connect’ despite Dani’s ‘blip’.
But Eyal Booker and Hayley Hughes could be skating on thin ice unless they start bonding, she predicted.
As for what’s next, having entered the show to find love, not fame, Kendall hopes to take a few weeks off before returning to the shoe shop.
"I’ve always said before I went in the villa that if I was out within a few days and work wanted me back…" she said.
"I never went in there for a change in career. I went in there to find love. So if I was to go back to work in a couple of weeks time I’d be fully happy with that.
"I was happy with my job beforehand, I was happy with my life beforehand so if I went back to all that, that wouldn’t bother me."
And she’s not interested in any other reality shows. What she wants to do is find The One.
"I didn’t go on as a reality show, I went on there to try and find love. So all of that, I’m not really interested in," she added.
"I just wanted to move on and find somebody. Obviously I found that maybe a little bit harder than expected."
