Resident doctor, Chris Steele, joined Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford on This Morning today via video link to talk about seeing the dentist as he gave health advice to viewers at home. As they spoke, Dr Chris revealed he needed to go to the dentist but was unable to due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Welcoming their co-host onto the show, Ruth began: “There he is, hello Chris, it’s good to see you. How are you doing?”
“I’m not too bad, not too bad,” Dr Chris replied before adding: “I’ve lost a front tooth.”
Ruth exclaimed: “Oh dear!” as Dr Chris continued: “I can’t get a dentist as they say it’s not an emergency.”
Despite losing the tooth, the medical professional said he understood the situation: “It’s fair enough, I understand that.”

“Well it depends if ugliness is an emergency or not,” Eamonn hit back.
Dr Chris luckily took the joke on the chin as he was seen laughing at the presenter.
Eamonn continued: “I’ve got a solution for you. Make sure you wear a mask.
“Wear a mask and we’re being urged, if we use public transport, do we wear masks?”
The presenter moved the conversation along to the latest rules for using public transport during the lockdown with Dr Chris chipping in to give advice.
