Resident doctor, Chris Steele, joined Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford on This Morning today via video link to talk about seeing the dentist as he gave health advice to viewers at home. As they spoke, Dr Chris revealed he needed to go to the dentist but was unable to due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Welcoming their co-host onto the show, Ruth began: “There he is, hello Chris, it’s good to see you. How are you doing?”

“I’m not too bad, not too bad,” Dr Chris replied before adding: “I’ve lost a front tooth.”

Ruth exclaimed: “Oh dear!” as Dr Chris continued: “I can’t get a dentist as they say it’s not an emergency.”

Despite losing the tooth, the medical professional said he understood the situation: “It’s fair enough, I understand that.”

“Wear a mask and we’re being urged, if we use public transport, do we wear masks?”
