VIEWERS tuned in to BBC One for another trip to Albert Square Tuesday night.
But an announcer left them confused when teasing the EastEnders instalment with a reference to a character named "Jake."
Baffled viewers quickly jumped on to social media, not knowing which character the announcer was referring to.
"Who is Jake?", a puzzled fan tweeted while another echoed: ""Am I the only one wondering who tf Jake is??"
When given a message about what to expect in the episode, viewers were told that "Jake" would be having a tough time.
"Jake" wouldn't be able to handle the knowledge that his daughter Amy had been self-harming.

This immediately let soap fans know the announcer wasn't talking about a new character but long-standing Walford resident Jack Branning, portrayed by Scott Maslen.
"Did the BBC announcer really call Jack Jake before the start of EastEnders, because I don't know of a Jake in EastEnders", one of them commented.
"The announcer said 'Jake is worried about Amy'. I'm worried about Jake… because who tf is he?", another chimed in.
One viewer added: "'Jake is worried about Amy' – I think the narrator is confused because who the f*** is Jake."

"Jake? You mean Jack", one soap fan quipped.
"If anyone watches EastEnders they said Jake instead of Jack", another viewer concluded.
As teased by the announcer and as seen on BBC One, Jack has failed to cope with Amy's secret self-harming.
During last night's episode of the London-based drama, the police officer even spiralled out of control, ransacking his teen daughter's bedroom after getting her to school.
