EastEnders fans ‘solve’ Thames death as Peter Beale return gives away big clue

EastEnders' Peter Beale is returning the soap next week, after five years of living in New Zealand away from his dad Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt).

EastEnders spoilers have confirmed that a character is going to be killed off during the 35th anniversary in a boat disaster, but the person is yet to be revealed.

Peter, who is coming back to the soap with a new face, as he is now being played by Dayle Hudson, is coming back to "exorcise his demons".

EastEnders' executive producer Jon Sen teased Peter's comeback to The Sun Online, stating: 'Peter Beale is a wonderful character with a very complicated history.

"He's got a great heart and he's got a very damaged soul. He's returning to Walford to exorcise some demons."

Ben's character Peter left the Square five years ago when he was struggling to deal with the revelation that his younger brother Bobby killed their sister Lucy.

In the spoiler pictures showing Peter's return, he is seen looking upset in a hospital waiting room, hinting that there could be tragedy ahead for Beales.

Fans have taken to social media to wonder if it will be Ian that gets killed off, as he took a walk down memory lane with Sharon (Letitia Dean) with pictures of their youth.
