FAN favourite Lola Pearce is being killed off in a tear-jerking brain tumour storyline.
And as she's set for an emotional Christmas wedding, EastEnders fans are predicting a heart-breaking twist for the character.
EastEnders swarmed over to a Digital Spy forum immediately after a soap insider revealed Lola Pearce will be marrying her on-off boyfriend Jay Brown during this year's Christmas instalment.
The news came after Lola was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour.
According to fans, the character could be killed off following her long-awaited wedding to Jay.
"Will this be a Death bed Wedding? I have a feeling Lola will Die on Christmas Day or over the New Year", one penned.

Another agreed: "It's looking that way, that Lola will pass away on her death bed after the wedding."
But one viewer was sceptical as actress Danielle Harold is reportedly still filming on the set of the BBC One show.
"Lola would have to deteriorate extremely quickly for her to die in 6/7 weeks time", they noted.
"When the story was announced they said there would be a focus on how it would effect Lola to be living with a Brain Tumour, that suggested the story would last longer than 2 months."

They added: "Dot's death and funeral are airing in early December, I can't see them killing Lola a few weeks after that, and with Mick's possible death around the same time as well."
"I still think Lola will die next year, but I could be wrong and they kill her off on Christmas day."
The Sun first revealed that long-standing soap star Danielle Harold would be bowing out of the London-based program in upcoming months.
A source then announced Lola would be tying the knot with Jay, portrayed by Jamie Borthwick.
