Lucy Benjamin, famed EastEnders actress, has admitted her daughters are banned from watching Love Island.
The 53-year-old cites unrealistic body image standards and wrong messaging as her explanation for prohibiting her children's viewing of the ITV dating show.
The EastEnders star, who played Lisa Fowler on the soap, told The Mirror: “I’ve got two daughters, a 12-year-old and a 16-year-old. So Love Island isn’t on in our house.

"It doesn’t sit comfortably with me. It’s kids making out on TV and there’s kind of this beautiful body image persona.
"Everyone looks like film stars. I don’t think it puts out the right message."
Love Island is only for applicants over the age of 18, but Lucy suggested the cast are too young.
She explained to the publication that people need to be careful with reality TV, adding that she doesn't even want her daughters to go down the same route she did.
Lucy continued: "I’d be careful about them going into acting or reality TV. It might leave a knot in my stomach."
Lucy went on to explain that Love Island produces unrealistic career standards, with its cast becoming overnight successes.
Some of the Love Islanders have made a huge career for themselves after leaving the villa, and others have not been so lucky.
Molly Marsh, Jess Harding, Ella Thomas, and Leah Taylor are amongst the highest-earning Love Island stars from this series.
Ex Love Islander and social media star Molly Marsh is ranked the highest earner, estimated to pull in £7,739 per TikTok video and £1,190 per Instagram post, a total of over £10k.
Even before entering the villa, Molly had around 600k TikTok followers, building on her already massive presence.
However, the lowest earners on social media include boys Mehdi Edno and Scott Van Der Sluis.
The pair are estimated to make just £1-2 per video on TikTok.
