EastEnders' original Lauren Branning looks very different in sexy selfies on Instagram

EASTENDERS' original Lauren Branning looks very different nine years after leaving the soap.

Actress Madeline Duggan played Max Branning's tearaway daughter Lauren from 2006 until 2010 when she was replaced by actress Jacqueline Jossa in the BBC soap.

Young Madeline Duggan was an experienced actress before joining the EastEnders cast.

She appeared in the West End production of Les Miserables at the age of nine as well as taking on a lead role in a short film Between Us in 2005.

And nine years on she looks more like her character with her Instagram packed with sultry selfies and pictures from nights out.

The actress, 25, looks stunning in pictures from her travels across the world.

In 2018, fans got overexcited as they thought they had spotted Madeline in an older picture of Lauren.

However, it turned out that producers had Photoshopped actress Jacqueline Jossa's head onto an old picture of the Brannings that original featured Madeline.

One tweeted: "How they going to have the old cast of Lauren in a family photo? Should have cut that photo part out. #EastEnders."

Another wrote: "Was that ‘other Lauren’ in the photo on @bbceastenders #EastEnders."

A third added: "They used a photo with old Lauren? #eastenders."

Madeline made her debut as Lauren back in 2006 when the Brannings moved onto Albert Square.

She was written out in June, 2010 and later replaced by Jacqueline, who was cast in the role just three months later.
