EastEnders: Dean forces Linda to lie about rape accusation
EastEnders’ Stacey Slater (played by Lacey Turner) takes a big gamble in upcoming episodes of the BBC soap.
Stacey spent most of the year being stalked and harassed by Theo Hawthrown (William Ellis), and a couple of months ago things came to a head when Theo broke into Stacey’s and attempted to assault her.
Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier) walked in and attacked Theo violently, causing him to be hospitalised for weeks.
Stacey and Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) tried to cover up Freddie’s attack, planting a weapon on Theo’s lifeless body to fabricate a self-defence story.
The court case is now approaching though and Theo has made a return to Walford, frightening Stacey.

Things are set to get more complicated for the family, and in scenes yet to air, Stacey is still reeling at Theo’s attempts to make contact on the day of his plea hearing, asking to meet.
Stacey is reluctant, but after Lily Slater (Lilia Turner) opens up about her worries concerning her mum to Ricky Branning (Frankie Day), Stacey decides to go.
At the meet, Stacey tries to manipulate Theo into pleading guilty by promising to restart their “relationship” once he’s served his time.
However, Stacey starts to worry she’s made the situation worse as Theo reacts badly to her suggestion.
