CHRISTMAS in EastEnders is set to come in with a bang as six of Walford's matriarchs become suspects in a whodunnit.
Fans have had their guesses about who the murder victim might be, but another character has just been added to the list after a vital clue was spotted in an upcoming episode.
Spoilers ahead of tonight's instalment of EastEnders showed Jack Branning chatting away to Phil Mitchell while the hubby-to-be prepares for his wedding.
Phil soon realised he was in a pickle as he did not have cufflinks.
In a gesture of friendship – which is rare between this pair – Jack handed over a pair of golden cufflinks to the groom.
He warned: "Take care of these, they're Nish's, so they're probably expensive."

Phil thanked him, admitting: "Lost mine, in a ruck I think!"
A previously aired flash-forward scene showed Sharon Watts discovering the Christmas murder victim, whose face was not visible in the clip.
The only clue that hinted at who would be killed was a pair of cufflinks Sharon found on the body.
Phil's newfound possession of the amber cufflinks Jack lent him mean that he is now in the running as one of the possible Walford residents who may die on Christmas Day.

And this is made even more likely that by the fact that his bride-to-be, Kat Slater, is one of the six potential murder suspects.
Phil cheated on Kat shortly before their wedding with Emma Harding, leaving viewers shocked.
So Kat has a motive for murder – but will she be angry enough to strike?
Or is this another red herring?
EastEnders airs on BBC One and iPlayer.
