KHEERAT Panesar has been kept out of the loop when it comes to Ranveer Gulati's shocking fate.

However, next week in EastEnders, the businessman makes a discovery, leading him to believe something's not right.

After finding out his mother Suki was partially responsible for his brother Jags' death, Kheerat (played by Jaz Deol) has been keeping his distance from her and focusing on his relationship with Stacey Slater.

Coming up, Kheerat takes his other half out on a date but he's soon distracted by work, leaving her frustrated.

He eventually opens up to Stacey and Eve Unwin, asserting he believes Ranveer Gulati has gone missing.

This conviction is only reinforced after Suki, awash with guilt over her involvement in Ranveer's demise, walked the streets of Walford in her nightgown, her mental health slowly deteriorating.

Later on, Kheerat pays a visit to Nina but is soon forced to apologise to Stacey for missing a date they had planned together.

Kheerat is set to grow increasingly suspicious of Ranveer's whereabouts when the latter's son Ravi (Aaron Thiara) suggests the Panesars celebrate his own son Nugget's birthday.

Ravi manipulates Vinny and Ash into coming along and, with things still tense between them, Kheerat declines the offer until Stacey offers him some words of wisdom and encourages him to reconsider.

While at the meal, however, Kheerat picks up on more signs that not everything is as it seems when it comes to Ranveer vanishing.

Although Kheerat is unaware of Ranveer's fate, BBC One viewers know that Suki and Ravi have a secret to keep.

Ranveer tried to sexually assault Suki after blackmailing her and she physically struck back.

But it wasn't until Ravi got involved that the situation escalated.

Sadly for her, Suki was left by Ravi to take the blame, thus believing she murdered somebody.
