Next week’s EastEnders promises as much feuding, flirting and shocks than any other week.
Walford residents will have plenty to deal with as a sinister car pulls up and threatens their ‘peaceful’ existence, a Bank Holiday party at E20 causes love affairs and fractures, and one character is left for dead in a shock attack.
It’s fair to say, Albert Square has never been so busy and the upcoming spoilers will definitely keep viewers on their toes for the foreseeable future.
Rainie and Max’s sham marriage is on the rocks
Rainie threatens to expose her sham marriage to Max as she falls back into old habits.
Max is paying his former sister-in-law to be his bride so that he can get custody of baby Abi, and is making her sell cars on the lot to keep up the facade.
But she decides to get Robbie to do her dirty work for her, and propositions him to consider "other arrangements" for his payment so she can pocket some of his commission.
Luckily he refuses, but Phil comes up with a cunning plan to use Robbie to get into the lot.
Will Rainie, Robbie and Phil scupper Max’s plans to get custody of his granddaughter when a social worker rearranges their appointment?
Stacey and Sonia fight for Martin’s attentions
Stacey gets a glamorous makeover and heads out to E20 with Whitney, but gets a little more attention than she bargained for from a reveller.
Her estranged husband Martin jumps in to defend her and hits the man, but his back gives way and Stacey has to help him home.
She takes a chance and leans in for a kiss – but is he interested?
After Martin’s injury, however, Sonia loves playing nurse for him and Bex suggests maybe there could be love in the air, but Sonia insists there nothing between them.
But Sonia starts thinking differently after she sees him drifting off to sleep, and secretly kisses him and admits she did love him.
So she gets glammed up and sees him in the cafe, but the Slaters arrive and soon a slanging match ensures between Stacey and Sonia.
But who will Martin choose?
One character says their goodbyes
Ingrid waves goodbye to Albert Square after some emotional chats with Jack.
She first gets hit on at E20 by the same man who tried it on with Stacey, and Jack intervenes and injures his hand while trying to punch the reveller.
But then she decides maybe she should leave and prepares herself to leave Jack and the kids, but is upset at the thought of departing.
A mystery car disturbs the Walford residents
A car with blacked out windows starts moving around the Square and Mel is immediately concerned for Hunter after he doesn’t show up for school.
She leaves a message for her ex and is worried perhaps Aidan is back for revenge?
The car also leaves Kim thinking about Vincent and she resolves to find out what happens so makes a phone call.
Mick left for dead in terrifying encounter
The lovable pub landlord is jumped on by a mystery assailant concealing his identity with a balaclava in shocking scenes to air.
There is no one around to help poor Mick, who is manning the Queen Vic alone, when he is viciously knocked to the ground.
Though Aidan seems an obvious culprit after the car shakes the residents, Halfway may be another reason for the attack when Linda notices £50 missing from the till and suspect him.
Whitney is also confused over Halfway’s distant behaviour when he ignores her calls and texts.
Has Halfway dragged Mick into some sort of trouble?
Billy does his utmost to convince Honey to take him back, even by organising a romantic picnic with fairy lights and delicious food.
But will his apologies be enough to win her affections?
And Ian continues to try to oust Masood from the restaurant by convincing Masood to organise a surprise party for Kathy while he goes to meet an investor.
EastEnders airs from 8pm on Mondays and Fridays and 7.30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays on BBC1.
