EastEnders Stacey Slater (played by Lacey Turner) has recently returned to the Square after being framed and put in prison by Ruby Allen (Louisa Lytton). Her return to the Square left ex-husband Martin Fowler (James Bye) and mother Jean Slater (Gillian Wright) stunned when she revealed she had remarried whilst in prison to Eve Unwin (Heather Peace). Now, the validity of her marriage could come into question as Stacey could make a shocking revelation in a bid to keep the Slaters from being made homeless.
Before Ruby wrongly convicted Stacey, there was chemistry growing between her and Kheerat as the two had a one-night stand last year.
Upon her return to the square, Kheerat wasted no time in reigniting the flame between the two of them.
In upcoming scenes, Stacey is still worried about her family’s living situation and asks Kheerat to speak to Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) but is interrupted by a phone call.
Panicking, she finds Eve drunk in the café having a go at Suki before revealing she’s meeting her probation officer.
Desperate to sober her wife up, Stacey takes Eve home, and when the probation officer shows up a reluctant Jean covers for her.
As the probation officer is leaving, Suki and Kheerat appear, angry at Eve for having a go earlier on, resulting in Suki wanting them out by the end of the week.
Stacey begs Kheerat to do something when she later bumps into him and asks to go for a drink together.
Angry after everything that happened, Kheerat tries to resist Stacey and pretend he’s not interested, but his plan fails as it becomes clear he still has feelings for her.
Could the pair end up sleeping together as Stacey tries to prevent the Slaters from being evicted?
Their one night stand could result in an unexpected pregnancy.
Would Suki be able to go through with her decision knowing she would be putting her grandchild in danger?
How will Eve react when she finds out about Stacey’s betrayal with Kheerat?
Viewers were stunned when the pair got together previously and will no doubt be keen to see them reunite.

Lacey Turner has recently teased a potential romance between the two characters and the possible future they could have together.
She told OK! Magazine: “You’d never put them as a match, but they had a one-night stand a long time ago, and there are some feelings still lingering.
“It will be interesting to see what happens, there is a bit of war between the Slaters and the Panesars, so that will make things a bit complicated.
“There’s definitely something there, whether it turns into something or not, I guess we’ll have to find out.
“Stacey would love that, just to annoy Suki! They really do hate each other.”
EastEnders airs weekdays at 7:35pm on BBC One.
