EastEnders viewers have been keeping a close eye on Gray Atkins (Toby-Alexander Smith) in recent weeks ever since he got engaged to Chelsea Fox (Zaraah Abrahams). Fans of the BBC soap have been concerned the villainous lawyer may turn violent on his bride-to-be if she has doubts before their wedding day. Unbeknown to Chelsea, Gray is a violent serial killer and murdered his last wife Chantelle Atkins (Jessica Plummer). However, according to official soap spoilers, Gray’s dangerous and misogynistic behaviour could soon be exposed. Could Chelsea attempt to kill Gray on their wedding day if she uncovers the truth?
In upcoming scenes on EastEnders, Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) pressures Gray to tell Chelsea the truth about his dire financial situation.
Later in front of Kheerat Panesar (Jaz Deol), Gray asks Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) for clients in return for a cut.
When Ben refuses, Kheerat interjects making Ben reconsider, to a surprised but grateful Gray.
Unaware of the agreement, Chelsea later arrives home to see a large man threatening Gray and immediately shoves him out of the house.
Furious by Chelsea’s interruption, Gray explains what was really going on.
The following day, Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) overhears Gray telling Ben about what happened with Chelsea and the prospective client.
With Ben no longer wanting to give Gray clients, Eve offers her services, but Gray passes.
However, when Eve later shows up with a client in need of representation and a lot of cash, Gray accepts and they begin working together.
This time, Gray makes sure to ban Chelsea from the house while he has clients over.
Later on, having attended her scan earlier in the week, Chelsea attempts to discuss baby names with her fiancé.
However, Denise overhears the conversation and they end up arguing.
Frustrated that Gray doesn’t have a lot of money, Chelsea gets an idea to get him his old job back.
Putting her plan into action, Chelsea disobeys Gray’s orders and enters the house, interrupting his meeting and angering the client in the process.
Gray is furious with Chelsea for ruining another meeting, but upon seeing his rage, she decides to call off the wedding.
Still angry that Gray hasn’t apologised for losing his temper, Chelsea is adamant the wedding is off, but she’s surprised to see a text from the bank.
Later on, Gray’s old boss, Laura, shows up with a warning about his behaviour.
Whitney sees an angry Laura after her confrontation with Gray and enquires about her firing him.
Laura soon tells Whitney about Gray’s dangerous and misogynistic streak before suggesting she stays well away from him – Chelsea too.
What will Whitney decide to do with this information about Gray?
Upon hearing Laura’s claims about Gray’s dangerous behaviour, Whitney could attempt to investigate him further.
As she grows more suspicious of the lawyer, could she uncover the truth about Gray killing his previous wife Chantelle?
If so, Whitney will likely attempt to warn Chelsea, but will the bride-to-be listen?
It may take some time for strong-headed Chelsea to believe the accusations against Gray.
However, if she has doubts on their wedding day, Gray’s violent side may be revealed if he loses his temper once again.
Terrified by Whitney’s warnings, could Chelsea end up murdering her serial killer fiancé? Viewers will have to tune in to find out her fate.
EastEnders continues Monday at 8pm on BBC One.
