AN Emmerdale actress looked completely different in throwback photos showing her with blonde hair.

The star took to Instagram to share the old photos, with her co-stars going wild for them.


Karen Blick, who plays Lydia Dingle in Emmerdale, captioned her upload: "Who’s That Girl? Found some early headshots circa early 00’s. X."

Vanessa Woodfield actress Michelle Hardwick commented: "Absolutely love these 🥰."

Ash Palmisciano, who plays Matty Barton, said: "beautiful ❤️❤️."

And Fiona Wade, who starred as Priya Sharma, added: "Gorgeous!!😍."

Karen joined Emmerdale in 2016 and her character went on to marry Sam Dingle in 2020.

Towards the end of last year viewers of the show saw Sam and Lydia deal with the arrival of their first grandchild, Esther, and Sam's son Samson's refusal to be a part of his daughter's life.

And fans have predicted a huge twist could be in store for Lydia.

Lydia tragically lost her baby when she was just 15 and after the baby boy was tragically stillborn, she fell pregnant by her husband Steve twice but neither of the babies made it to term.

Now fans think Lydia might still be a mum in a twist where the baby did live after all and was perhaps found by a caring couple who took him to the hospital.

They've also claimed the baby is Home Farm nanny Nicky, played by Lewis Cope.

Nicky has admitted he grew up with a lot of siblings, which suggests he could have been a foster child.
